Ceramic Self-ligating bracket are divided into MBT brackets and straight wire (Roth) brackets. It consists of a base body and a base plate. The base body has a groove (arch wire groove) for placing the orthodontic arch wire and a wing for ligating the orthodontic arch wire; the base plate and the tooth bonding surface have a structure to improve the bonding strength, with a dovetail. There are two types of bottom plate and mesh bottom plate.
